Explore various artisan techniques (MACRAMÉ, FELTING, BATIK… ) and create your own souvenir inspired by nature – a lasting reminder of calm, creativity and presence.
We will focus on creating a project using the technique you love the most, shaping a piece that reflects your hands, your rhythm, and your imagination. This retreat is suitable for both established artists and those who simply desire to create. No formal education or qualifications are required.
Besides our guided daily sessions, you will be able to experiment on your own in the little “creative corner” and try other crafting techniques (glass painting, mosaic, sun catcher making…). If you love hands-on making and seaside time outdoors, join us and reconnect with your creative muse.

ACCOMMODATION & LOCATION
We offer 8 places in three traditional houses located directly by the sea, nestled 7 km from the port of Vis in the sandy bay of Stončica. Located on the sunny, secluded side of the bay, the remote venue offers privacy and no neighboring buildings nearby. Surrounded by nature, scenic paths lead along the sea.

Accommodation is in shared double bed rooms. Depending on the number of registrations, pre-requested private rooms may be available for an additional fee (+400 €).

Looking for a getaway! Our beautiful island is food for the soul. Especially in the low season when all you can hear are the gentle sounds of mother earth… Enjoy the serenity and being in harmony with yourself and nature. Wake up by the sounds of the sea, birds and crickets. Wind will salute you in the evenings.

You will then receive a booking form by e-mail for final registration.
After registering for the Art & Craft Retreat, you will receive an invoice for the deposit. Your participation is confirmed once the deposit is paid. The remaining balance is due on the day of arrival or in advance via bank transfer. In the case of high number of applications, priority will be given to participants who complete their deposit payment first.

What can you expect?
Whether you are a talented artist with vast experience or you are a complete beginner and have never tried any crafting technique it makes no difference. We are providing a safe space for everyone to express, create and enjoy. A space of no comparison, no competition or judgement, rather imitating nature where every form has a meaning and a purpose. Practicing handcraft offers possibility for unconditional acceptance and healing. We are here to support, share, motivate, love, enjoy and grow together.
Crafting venue is placed on the best possible calming, inspiring and nurturing spot. The workshop space is widespread throughout the area and each corner is dedicated to its own creative technique. There is enough private space available despite sharing the kitchen and the surroundings. Stony terraces spread out below the houses, and the sea is just a step away…
TRAVELING TO THE ISLAND
The ferry runs 2 or 3 times daily from Split. The pick up point for the transfer to the bay is at the port of Vis at 13:30 if not arranged differently. We are definitely taking care of you once you arrive to the island. Prior communication is essential.
